FESTIVAL GUEST’S ENSEMBLE -2019-

The festival guest’s ensemble will perform a musical program on March 11, commemorating the day of Restoration of Lithuanian Independence on the monument “Lituania Restituta” in Ukmerge. The professional musicians of the ensemble ahave participated in the Ukmergė Percussion festival several times.

The members of the ensemble are also musicians of the Representative Wind Instruments Orchestra Rhythm Group of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Lithuania.

Robertas Vilčinskas is a popular drummer and percussionist. He plays music of different styles with Lithuanian collectives and orchestras, including Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, participates in international projects, assists the ensemble “Giunter percussion” and also engages in pedagogical activities.

Artūras Maniušis is a member of the percussion association, ensemble “Vilnius”, many years plays in the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra. Former member of Trimitas Orchestra, National Opera and Ballet Theater percussion band. Other orchestras are often invited him to assist.

Mindaugas Juškevičius is a concertmaster of the Lithuanian National Theater of the Republic of Lithuania. He has played with various Lithuanian performers as well as ensemble “Vilniaus mušamieji”, who has participated in various musical percussion instrument festivals in Lithuania and abroad.

Alina Šliogerienė – percussionist, teacher at National M.K. Čiurlionis Art School. She studied mastery performance at the J. Tallat-Kelpša Conservatory, then studied at Jāzepa Vītola Latvian Academy of Music. After returning to Lithuania, he continued his studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater. She participates in musical projects, plays in various ensembles, including the Brazilian music ensemble “Samba Vilnius”.

Vaidas Čerškus is a long-time musician of the Representative Wind Instruments Orchestra Rhythm Group of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Lithuania. Graduated from percussion studies at J. Tallat-Kelpša Conservatory.
